Profile: The ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) Committee at AmCham Saudi Arabia is setup to promote and spread ESG values as an enabler to achieve the sustainability development goals and the Saudi Green initiative in alignment and support of the Kingdom’s strategic Vision 2030 objectives.
In doing so, the ESG Committee aims to create bridges between US Businesses and their counterparts in the Kingdom to provide Environmental and Sustainability solutions.
Mission: To promote ESG values, practices and culture in the Kingdom, in line with Saudi Green Initiative and Vision 2030 while connecting American ESG solution providers with their Saudi Counterparts.
Vision: To create a platform that enables accessibility to ESG practices and solutions for businesses in Saudi Arabia.
Strategic Priorities:
Promote ESG values in KSA
Spread awareness about ESG tools that address climate change & sustainability issues
Create a platform to transfer knowledge, technologies, and innovations to tackle climate change, water, solid waste management, and recovery of resources.
Create a forum to connect American solution providers with their Saudi counterparts.
Provide ESG tools to enhance the performance of companies.
