Dr. Raed ALZubi

Dr. Raed ALZubi is an Industrial and Downstream Chemicals Executive at Tricon Energy Arabia, based in Jubail, overseeing strategic growth, joint venture management, and industrial investment realization across the Eastern Province. Holding a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in manufacturing from Brigham Young University (USA), he brings over two decades of global and regional C-suite, board, and operational leadership experience across downstream chemical processing, plastics conversion, and advanced manufacturing. Throughout his career in the U.S. and GCC, Dr. ALZubi has held several patents, published extensively on downstream industrial development, and advised major public and private industrial bodies. His governance and industry service includes serving as Global President (2017–2018) and Executive Board Member of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), as well as serving on the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) PlasChem/Value Park Committee and the Gulf Petrochemical and Chemicals Association (GPCA) Plastics Committee.
