The inaugural Digital Futures Roundtable in the Middle East and North Africa, hosted by Google in collaboration with AmCham Saudi Arabia, was held at Marriott, DQ in Riyadh on September 18, 2025. The event brought together influential private sector leaders and industry experts to discuss the transformative potential of AI within the region.
Led by Wilson White, Vice-President of Government Affairs & Public Policy at Google, the roundtable focused on how the private sector can support the advancement and adoption of AI to meet Vision 2030 goals. Key topics included the opportunities, challenges, and policy implications of AI across various industries. Attendees engaged in an open dialogue, sharing insights and strategies to foster a robust AI-driven technology ecosystem in the Kingdom.
The event successfully established a coalition of cross-sector leaders committed to harnessing AI's potential, emphasizing collaboration to overcome roadblocks and drive innovation. Participants left with a shared vision to leverage AI for economic growth and societal benefit, reinforcing the region’s position as a leader in digital transformation.
