The U.S. Consulate General in Dhahran was pleased to facilitate a visit by Dr. Lee Peddicord, Professor Emeritus of Nuclear Engineering at Texas A&M University, AmCham Saudi Arabia Energy Committee roundtable on building Saudi Arabia’s civil nuclear capacity.

Dr. Peddicord’s presentation on “Human Capacity Development for a National Nuclear Program” sparked valuable discussions among Saudi and American energy leaders about workforce development, technology transfer, and strategic collaboration opportunities. These partnerships will be instrumental as Saudi Arabia develops its civil nuclear ecosystem in support of Vision 2030.
