Faran Siddiqi

Managing Director for Saudi Arabia

BAE Systems U.S.

Faran Siddiqi is Managing Director for Saudi Arabia at BAE Systems U.S. and Chair of the AmCham Saudi Arabia Defense & Security Committee. A U.S. Navy veteran, he has spent more than 25 years in corporate strategy, business development, and M&A across the United States, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and India, 20 of them with BAE Systems' U.S. business.

His career has run through the region for two decades: leading multi-billion-dollar aerospace deals at Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, building the entrepreneurship program at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, and heading global business development for BAE Systems across the Middle East and Asia.

Faran holds an MBA from Cornell University, a master's in information technology from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York.

Riyadh is home, though he divides his time between the Kingdom and the United States. He follows soccer and baseball, supports cross-cultural and education projects, and says an early obsession with Top Gun settled which industry he would end up in.

Faran became Chair of the Defense & Security Committee in June 2026. He believes the most consequential chapter of the eight-decade U.S.- Saudi partnership is still ahead, and that the Committee's job is to help American defense companies move from selling to Saudi Arabia to building with it, well beyond Vision 2030.
