Erich Phillips

Erich Phillips is the Riyadh Chapter Director at the American Chamber of Commerce Saudi Arabia. He is an entrepreneur and executive with more than 20 years of international experience spanning the United States, Cambodia, China, Singapore, Ecuador, and Saudi Arabia. He brings a proven record in business development, cross-sector partnerships, and organizational leadership, with a focus on advancing emerging markets and strengthening bilateral relations.

Before joining AmCham Saudi Arabia, Erich served as Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, where he expanded membership engagement, deepened cooperation with the U.S. Embassy, and launched national initiatives supporting economic and diplomatic collaboration. He is also the founding CEO of Botanico Brewing Company, Cambodia’s pioneering craft brewery and hospitality group, recognized internationally for its innovation and community impact.

Originally from Texas, Erich is a graduate of Springfield College in Massachusetts—the birthplace of basketball. He and his wife, an art teacher, share a passion for creativity, education, and community building.
