Dr. Maha Bawazir

Dr. Maha Bawazir is a leading figure in Saudi Arabia’s educational transformation, bringing over 40 years of expertise to advancing school quality and excellence aligned with Vision 2030. She currently serves as a Chief Educational Advisor within a government authority, ensuring strong alignment between national policies and effective school practices.

A former senior leader at the Ministry of Education for more than three decades, Dr. Bawazir is a certified school lead evaluator and an experienced quality assurance professional. Her work has supported the successful launch and improvement of numerous educational institutions across the Kingdom.

As the Founder and CEO of Global Education Consultancy (GEC), she leads comprehensive initiatives in school improvement, start-up operations, policy development, and strategic planning—empowering schools not only to open successfully, but to thrive. GEC specializes in educational management, recruitment, and the School Start-up Accelerator Program.

Dr. Bawazir also serves on advisory boards of prestigious educational organizations, contributing to policy development, innovation, and international collaboration.
