Christina Karathanasi

Christina Karathanasi is the Head of Finance of the American Chamber of Commerce Saudi Arabia. With over 12 years of experience across Europe and U.S.-based multinational organizations, Christina has built a strong track record in financial management, audit coordination, compliance, and multi-entity reporting.

Christina holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, is a Certified Tax Accountant with full signatory rights, and an active member of the Economic Chamber of Greece. Her career spans the technology, construction, energy, and consulting sectors, where she has led accounting operations and financial closings, strengthened compliance frameworks, delivered successful statutory and internal audits, and partnered closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to improve processes and operational decision-making.

Guided by accuracy, integrity, and collaboration, she brings a steady and forward-looking approach to financial leadership, driven by the belief that finance can be both a stabilizing force and a strategic partner.
