DIRECTOR OF SECTOR COMMITTEES

  • The Director of Industry Sector Committees is responsible for liaising regularly with the Sector Committee Chairs and providing monthly updates to the Board of Directors on the activities of the sector committees.

  • The Board of Directors through the Director of Industry Sector Committees approves emerging Industry Sector Committees.

  • The Industry Sector Committees Director shall be responsible for promoting emerging Sector Committees to become functional and valuable contributors to the organization and to identify established Committees for Board advisory participation.

JEDDAH CHAPTER PRESIDENT

  • The Jeddah Chapter President shall preside over all meetings of Board of Officers within Jeddah Chapter and oversee the implementation of AmCham Saudi Arabia Board of Directors’ decisions.

  • The Jeddah Chapter President shall also report on the chapter activity to the Board of Directors and put any relevant matters or needs of Jeddah Chapter to a vote of the Board of Directors as needed.

  • The Jeddah Chapter President shall represent AmCham Saudi Arabia in all external relations within Jeddah Chapter.

EASTERN PROVINCE CHAPTER PRESIDENT

  • The Eastern Province Chapter President shall preside over all meetings of Board of Officers within the Eastern Province Chapter and oversee the implementation of AmCham Saudi Arabia Board of Directors’ decisions.

  • The Eastern Province Chapter President shall also report on the chapter activity to the Board of Directors and put any relevant matters or needs of the Eastern Province Chapter to a vote of the Board of Directors as needed.

  • The Eastern Province Chapter President shall represent AmCham Saudi Arabia in all external relations within Eastern Province Chapter.

MEMBERS AT LARGE

To serve as a member of the AmCham Saudi Arabia board, the duties of which are not fixed but instead vary according to the needs of the organization and as directed by the Board Officers. The board is responsible for establishing dues and benefits, soliciting, and accepting donations, informing members of pertinent matters, establish and evaluate board and administrative policies, approve capital costs, etc. as defined in Article III, 3.1 of the Bylaws (available on the AmCham website).
